PRINCETON – The Bureau, Putnam & Marshall County Health Department on Thursday announced that a woman in her 90’s was the 60th resident to pass away from complications related to COVID-19. They also announced the death of a Marshall County woman in her 70’s. They also noted 38 new infections in Bureau County and 10 new infections in Marshall County. Since the pandemic began, 2,639 Bureau County residents have tested positive.
“Despite the knowledge that Covid-19 vaccinations have begun, we continue to need everyone’s cooperation in order to slow the spread of this disease until medical interventions become widely available. The only way to accomplish that is to follow the guidelines.” Said Hector Gomez, Administrator of the BPMHCD.
