OREGON – Authorities are continuing to search for the bodies of two missing fishermen after their boat capsized Wednesday in Oregon. According to Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle, one individual was located over a mile south of the Oregon Dam, but the body was not recovered because it was moved when divers tried to reach it at the bottom of the river. On Friday morning, a third attempt to locate the bodies was taken via sonar, but emergency crews were not successful. VanVickle says this isn’t going to be an easy search with rising river levels every day. He says the search is on the brink of being suspended again for safety concerns.
