965 New Covid Cases In Illinois, 9 in LaSalle County

CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health released the daily Covid-19 count Sunday afternoon and reported six new deaths.  That ties for the lowest daily death count since March 25th.  However, the positive cases continue to show an uptick since the lows were reached in June with 965 new cases.  Locally, LaSalle County health officials report nine new cases.  The new cases range in age from two teenagers to a woman in her 70’s, and Sunday’s count makes over 325 countywide cases since the pandemic began in March.
