Three suffered life-threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash in Bureau County

PRINCETON – Three people suffered life-threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash in Bureau County on Friday. The Illinois State Police say an SUV pulling a trailer around 1 PM was traveling eastbound on I-80 west of Princeton when another vehicle allegedly drifted into their lane and they took evasive action, losing control and overturning in the median and blocking the westbound lanes. The 24-year-old male driver and a 23-year-old male passenger were taken to the hospital, while a 24-year old female was take by Life Flight from the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
