MORRIS -The Grundy County Coroner John Callahan in a release Sunday morning has said that an inmate from the Stateville Correctional Institute has died due to COVID-19. They say 66-year-old Ronald Rice was a patient at Morris Hospital. Rice was serving an 80 year sentence for the murder of an 11-year-old boy in 1980.
