Pennsylvania man identified as victim of fatal crash in DeKalb County

WATERMAN – The cyclist killed after a crash with a passenger vehicle in DeKalb County has been identified. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office say that around 8:30 PM Tuesday night they were called to Shabbona Grove Road east of Leland road for the incident. They say a passenger car was traveling east and collided with the bike ridden by 25-year-old Clayton R. Dubbs of Pittsburgh, PA. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say they determined Dubbs was riding in the center of the lane and did not have on any reflective clothing or helmet after dark. The investigation is on going with the DeKalb County State’s Attorney’s Office and the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office.
