OTTAWA- The hot weather Tuesday changed the length of the march by protesters in Ottawa, but not the message. Holding signs demanding equality, organizers spoke about how black lives matter everywhere, including LaSalle County.
The protest began with a gathering at the LaSalle County Government Complex, then moved to Washington Park in downtown Ottawa, where the crowd set off on their march to the nearby Ottawa Police Station.
