OTTAWA – An Ottawa man who was reported missing by family members on Saturday was found dead Tuesday near I-80. According to the Ottawa Police Department, 71-year-old Thomas E. Thompson was identified as the deceased subject located by authorities in rural Ottawa. The death is under investigation by the Illinois State Police, Ottawa Police Department, and the LaSalle County Coroner Office. Officials say they do not suspect foul play.
