
PRINCETON- A sixth resident of Bureau County has tested positive for COVID-19. On Monday the Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County health Department announced that a man in his 50’s was screened and tested by an area hospital. The individual is recovering at home at this time.
Public health officials are in the beginning stages of the investigation and are working to identify individuals who were in contact with the case. Federal privacy restrictions prohibit the release of any additional information regarding this case. No further information regarding the investigation is available at this time.
This is the sixth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Bureau County and the seventh in counties served by the Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Departments. The first case was reported in Marshall County on March 23rd.
