IVCC Raises Tax Levy Request

OGLESBY – The Illinois Valley Community College trustees approved a $12.2 million tax levy request for this year, up from the 2017 levy request of $11.7 million. The 4.85% levy increase will not require a public notice or public hearing. IVCC levies taxes in eight counties, including LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, Lee, Livingston, Grundy and DeKalb.
