Illinois State Police and others confirm bones found ‘not human’

PERU – Bones found during a search of a property where a serial killer claimed to have left a body have been determined to not be human. LaSalle County Coroner William Wujek an Tuesday announced that the Illinois State Police and other experts have determined they were not remains of a woman 61-year-old Dellmus Colvin said he murdered in LaSalle County in 2005. The Ohio prison inmate is serving a life sentence for seven murders, and claims to have killed dozens more. In a podcast interview Colvin gave details that authorities used in their search of an abandoned Truck Wash on May Road near Peru. LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton last week said authorities will begin another search of the area Wednesday morning.
