OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College said the number of high school students taking dual credit courses is down slightly during the audit-finance committee meeting. The dual credit/dual enrollment report on the number of high school juniors said that withdrawals were caused mainly by the move to online instruction during the pandemic. That resulted in a drop in credit hours and a decrease in head count of 86 students. This past year they had 842 students, down from 928 in 2018-19.
