Elon Musk purchases 1,225 ventilators, sends them to the US amidst Coronavirus outbreak


Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for March 24th:
In lieu of growing concerns about a shortage of medical supplies in the United States, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has bought and donated 1,225 ventilators to Los Angeles amidst the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19.
Musk was originally a bit of skeptic about the severity of the virus, but the move shows his change of heart as well as his willingness to try and help people during this tumultuous time.
California Governor Gavin Newsom was elated by Musk’s donation, “They arrived in Los Angeles and Elon Musk is already working with the hospital association and others to get those ventilators out in real time. It’s an heroic effort.”
As I said last week, it’s imperative during this time that we not only look to the helpers in the world but also try and be a helper ourselves!
