A 12-year-old dog named Honey, who is half-blind, is now a hero after confronting a bear to protect her family and their farm animals. The senior pup from New Mexico was badly injured but was able to keep the bear away.
Thanks to emergency veterinary care and help from a local humane society, Honey is now on the road to recovery. Her family says she saved lives, which is funny considering she’s still terrified of the vacuum cleaner.
