Have you ever wanted to call a Boomer? Well, now you can. A neuroscience project set up two bright yellow payphones. One is labeled “Call a Boomer,” and they set it up in Boston . . . and the other says “Call a Zoomer,” and they set it up in a senior community in Reno.
And it’s connecting folks one phone call at a time. If you didn’t know, the Zoomers and Boomers are our two loneliest generations, so the hope is that it can bring people together. One phone call even flipped stereotypes when a Zoomer told a Boomer to get off their phone and spend more time outside.
