Hudson River Rescue

daily-dose-of-uplift-2

Did you hear about the mini “Miracle on the Hudson” that happened this week?  A small plane with two people on board lost power and had to land in the Hudson River Monday night.

It happened near Newburgh, New York, about 50 miles north of Manhattan. The crash landing went as well as it possibly could have.  Especially considering how cold and icy the water is right now.  Both people were able to swim to shore.  They got checked out at a hospital, and they’re both okay.

The actual “Miracle on the Hudson” happened in 2009, and that was a much bigger plane.  All 155 people on board survived.
