A couple near St. Louis met at a water aerobics class a couple years ago, and just got married in the same YMCA pool they met in. All their wedding guests were in the pool too.
82-year-old Edward LaRue and 78-year-old Marlene Parsons went on their first date in late-2023, and he proposed eight months later . . . but it took her another year to say yes. Their water aerobics teacher was already ordained, so she did the ceremony. Their pool wedding happened last Wednesday.
