A bunch of college students at the University of Texas may have helped solve a murder case that went cold for over 30 years. A 25-year-old woman was killed in 1991, and no one ever got arrested for it.
Criminology students poured through old evidence, and realized a lady she was friends with had a motive and no alibi. Cops announced this week that they arrested the woman for murder.
A few students got emotional and even CRIED when they heard. The school’s criminology department just launched a partnership with Arlington police this fall to help them investigate cold cases.
