A couple who works as trash collectors used all their money to throw their 15-year-old daughter a party last month. But a bunch of people they invited didn’t show up.
Her name is Isela. Her dad didn’t want the leftovers to go to waste . . . enough for about 40 people . . . so he offered them up on Facebook. Then his post went viral, and people came out of the woodwork to throw her a REAL party.
A photographer offered her a photo shoot . . . more than a dozen bands said they’d play for free . . . a bunch of local businesses got on board . . . and her local government offered up the town’s STADIUM as the venue.
2,000 people from all over Mexico showed up for it on Saturday and brought gifts. And the two biggest gifts changed her life.
She got a 1,000-square-foot plot of land in her hometown. And her local government gave her a scholarship. She’s hoping to be a teacher someday.
