A 7-year-old student in Rhode Island, named Sameer Santana, is a hero after saving a classmate’s life who was choking during snack time. Sameer rushed over and performed the Heimlich maneuver as soon as he saw the other kid choking. And he had only learned it the year before in school.
Sameer earned a community award and recognition from first responders for his bravery and quick-thinking.
