A mother and her toddler are safe after their car plunged into a river in Vermont and started floating downstream. The 26-year-old mom cut through the airbag, and then managed to free her two-year-old son from his car seat.
The mother and son then made it to the roof and were able to swim ashore before firefighters rescued them. Miraculously, no one was harmed.
