A five-year-old boy in Colorado spotted a mistake in a Southwest Airlines training manual. And it earned him a tour of their headquarters in Dallas.
William Hines isn’t even in kindergarten yet, but loves planes. His parents recently got a Southwest pilot to come to their place and show him some stuff. He was looking at a training manual when he noticed that two “terrain monitors” in a picture of a cockpit panel didn’t match.
Southwest flew him and his family to their headquarters in Dallas and gave them the VIP treatment. The biggest highlight was getting to climb into a flight simulator and check it out.
