A pet monkey named Ava got loose in rural South Carolina last week. And two city officials managed to catch her by offering her some coffee.
The town clerk and local mayor found her hanging off the back of a parked SUV, and they had a cup of coffee with them. So they took the lid off and put it on the ground to see if the monkey would come over and investigate. She did, and she’s now back home with her owner.
