Delta flight from Detroit to L.A. made an emergency landing on Monday to save a dog that had a medical emergency. The travel site “View from the Wing” said it’s the first time they’ve ever heard of an airline doing it for a pet.
A veterinarian on board treated the dog, and the plane landed in Minneapolis. 181 passengers were delayed for two-and-a-half hours, but no mention of any complaints. The pilot told them the dog was expected to make a full recovery.
