A cop in New York named Jared Desalvo saved a dog from the East River in March, and now she’s got a forever home. The NYPD announced that after six weeks, no one came forward to claim the dog, so JARED adopted her. He’s got two young kids, so it worked out great.
Two cops in New Jersey showed up just in time to save a drowning dog from a backyard pool on Saturday. It turned out the pit bull had gotten loose earlier that day, and the owner didn’t know where it was. He went to the police station that night to thank both cops in person.
