A nine-year-old kid in North Carolina did the Heimlich on his friend and saved his life last week.  His name is Jayceon Branch.   He was playing basketball at recess, and his friend took a bite of a granola bar. Jayceon immediately saw he was choking, and did the Heimlich hard enough to lift him up off the ground.  He says he learned it watching YouTube.

Speaking of North Carolina:  Guinness revealed it’s home to the world’s oldest llama, at least in captivity.  His name is Whitetop, and he works as an emotional support llama to cheer up sick kids.  He’ll be 28 in May. The average lifespan for a llama is around 15 years, maybe 20 in captivity.
