Bicyclist struck in LaSalle hit and run

LASALLE – A bicyclist has been struck in LaSalle in what authorities are describing as a hit and run. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office say they were called on Sunday to Illinois Route 351 near the canal entrance south of LaSalle, where a bicyclist reported being struck. Witnesses described the vehicle as a large, white SUV with a yellow temporary registration plate. The Sheriff’s Office notes the vehicle may be missing its passenger side mirror.
