A metal band made up of cats dropped their first single for charity

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 7th:
Cattera — a metal band comprised entirely of cats — has released its first single, “Hunger Of The Beast.” The songs serves as a charity effort to benefit a local cat rescue in Brooklyn. The name of the rescue is (fittingly) Whiskers-A-GoGo.

The cat’s frontman, Roope-Shakir, who was rescued by Whiskers-A-GoGo, shared on Instagram: “I understand how important it is to have good press. I just meow all day so there’s no way you would have found out about CATTERA otherwise.”
