Sacramento man rescues woman from car accident by punching through windshield

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for March 17th:
Nicholas Lee, a former defensive tackle in college, is being hailed as a hero after he rescued a woman from her overturned vehicle by punching through the windshield.
Lee came across the accident and noticed there was a woman stuck inside the truck. In the video, Lee can be seen smashing his way through the truck’s windshield using on his feet and bare hands.
“My friend jumped inside without me knowing and started to help the lady out because she was stuck. I started recording without him knowing,” said Lee’s friend Gerardo Yahuaca, who shared the video.
Football strength pays off in usual ways sometimes.
