Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for October 22nd:
Several people sent photos to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office after seeing an officer perform an act of kindness.
Cpl. Gray Maloy spotted a man in a wheelchair who wanted to cross a road in Mechanicsville, MD.
Maloy pulled over, stopping traffic on the busy street, got out of his cruiser, and helped push the man’s wheelchair across the road, and then on to his final destination.
“Wonderful act of selfless love and service,” one person commented.
“Thank you, Cpl. Malloy for you kindness. I’m sure the gentleman appreciated your assistance. God bless and keep you safe and well,” another wrote.
It’s always the little things that seem to have the biggest impact.
