Former Bears kicker Robbie Gould pledges $500 per field goal to fight pediatric cancer

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for October 16th:
As a Bears fan, if there’s one player I miss for both his play and his character, it’s their stalwart kicker Robbie Gould.
Gould might be playing for the San Francisco 49ers, but he still keeps Chicago in his heart and mind, especially with this recent move.
Gould has pledged that for every field goal he makes this season, he will donate $500 for every field goal to Cal’s Angels – a non-profit organization based in St. Charles, which “provides a wish or financial assistance of $1,000 to families with a child fighting cancer receiving treatment at any Chicago area pediatric hospital.”
Cal’s Angels was founded by the family of Cal Sutter, a 12-year-old Elgin boy who passed away from leukemia in August 2006. Since 2007, the organization has raised over $13 million to support thousands of patients.
On the field and off, Robbie is good as Gould!
