SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported the largest daily death count from COVID-19 related complications since late June. The IDPH on Tuesday reported 39 deaths, as well as 1,492 more confirmed COVID-19 cases. These deaths include 3 individuals in LaSalle County, who were reported yesterday by the local health department. Since the start of the pandemic, Illinois has seen 246,515 cases and 8,054 deaths in total.
