OTTAWA – OSF HealthCare St. Elizabeth has restarted surgical services after suspending procedures due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the health care Ministry announced Tuesday.
“Our first and foremost priority is the safety of our patients and Mission Partners,” said Ken Beutke, president of OSF Saint Elizabeth. “Our Mission Partners have been diligently cleaning around the clock, and we are introducing an enhanced process for elective services focused around our patient’s safety and peace of mind.”
Patients coming to OSF for a scheduled procedure can expect additional safeguards in place, including a COVID-19 screening 72-hours prior to the appointment.
