Grandparents hold Zoom wedding after spring nuptials were cancelled


Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 14th:
Unique times call for unique solutions, and with the help of their families, Alvin Lee, 90, and Dorothy Driskell, 85, were able to get married after their big wedding ceremony was cancelled amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. They got creative and decided to hold a wedding via Zoom.
Lee lost his wife 11 years ago while Dorothy lost her husband in 2017. Last year, the two met each other and found love all over again. After meeting in New York, the two realized they both lived about two hours away from one another in Ohio, and have been driving back and forth to see each other ever since.
