Plane passengers celebrate couple’s adoption with surprise baby shower

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for February 13th:
Talk about a once in a lifetime moment these two will never forget.
Dustin and Caren Moore were on a flight home with their newly adopted baby girl, after nine years of trying to have a child. After informing one of the flight attendants of their new baby off-the-cuff, the two were stunned when the pilot came over the intercom and gave them a congratulatory announcement.
Yet it didn’t stop there…
Flight attendants began passing out pens and napkins to other passengers so they could write words of encouragement for the new mom and dad.
Some of the comments are pretty hilarious:
“Rub each other’s feet, and rub the baby’s feet.”
“Make time for date night.”
“Always tell her you love her.”
“Drink lots of wine!”
Dustin compiled all off the napkins into a scrapbook, and wrote a heartwarming Facebook post about the impromptu in-flight baby shower. This is a remarkably unique event, and one that hopefully sets the tone for a lifetime of happiness for this nuclear family!
