Police are advising not to abbreviate 2020 when signing important documents. They say that an abbreviated version of 2020 can be easily altered. For example if you sign something 1/3/20 it could be easily changed to 1/3/2017 or 1/3/2019. So to protect yourself, make sure you sign all documents 2020.
