DIXON – Dixon High School was put under a brief soft lockdown after an alleged phone threat Monday morning. Dixon High School said around 9 AM they received a telephone call from older male who stated, “The school should be looking into students that failed to attend school today, as they might have another Milby situation.” Two hours later authorities had identified a person of interest and charges could be pending with the Lee County State Attorney’s Office. In May of 2018 a teen with a gun on the campus of the school was stopped by resource office Mark Dallas.
