Kickball Game a Success Between Mendota Responders and Students

MENDOTA – With sirens wailing students cheered on as Mendota Fire and Police arrived at Lincoln School for the annual Guns & Hoses Kickball game. The sunny morning on the blacktop was enjoyed by all as first responders faced a throng of elementary students in a hard fought battle before school on Monday. The students fell to the adults 10-12, but all had a good time, including ‘Sparky’, the firefighter mascot dog who even took a turn at the plate.
