Man Found Dead in Train Car Identified

OTTAWA – LaSalle County Authorities have released the name of the man found dead at a sand plant in Ottawa.  Friday afternoon, the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s  Office responded to the facility at 701 Boyce Memorial Drive to a report of a non-responsive male, reportedly in a train car.   Monday afternoon, officials said that the man has been identified as 35 year old Joseph E. Rasmussen, of Pampa, Texas.
Officials say the investigation is still continuing.
