AMBOY – A Rock Falls man is dead after an accident Thursday involving construction equipment near Amboy. Around 3:15 PM the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Princeton EMS were called to the area of Carter Road north of Todd Road for a rollover involving road construction equipment. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office say that 34-year-old Timothy Denning was operating a piece of road construction equipment when it rolled into the ditch on top of him. Denning was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lee County Coroner’s Office.
