“The Office” stars John Krasinski, Steve Carell host “good news” show amidst COVID-19 outbreak

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for March 30th:
The Office is a kind of comfort food for many of us. It’s a show some of us can put on when we’re in a bad mood that helps us redirect our attention.
Now, Office co-stars John Krasinski and Steve Carell are trying to help get our minds off the gloom in the world.
Both men took to Twitter to host the first of a presumably recurring series called Some Good News, a different kind of news program that seeks out the positive stories in the world. Not to brag, of course, but kind of like this “Daily Dose of Uplift.”
“For years now I’ve been wondering why is there not a news show dedicated entirely to good news?” Krasinski said.
I checked it out, and it’s exactly the kind of show you’d expect from Krasinski and Carell. Equal parts sophisticated with a little silliness added in the right moments.
