A teacher in Michigan is now a Guinness World Record holder. 90-year-old Beverly Hannett-Price teaches English at Detroit Country Day School, just outside the city. They held a surprise assembly for her on Monday.
She broke the record for “longest career as a language teacher.” She started in 1958, over 67 years ago. Actor Courtney B. Vance was a student and showed up. She also taught Robin Williams and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
