Hometown: Geneseo, IL

High school/college: Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Go Leathernecks!

Any cool accomplishments/experience on radio: I've been in radio for about 18 years. Being able to do what I love every day is the coolest accomplishment I can think of!

Any family shoutouts: Shout-out to my husband Trey for always supporting me and my 2 daughters. They are the coolest and funniest people I know!

What inspired you to become a DJ? In 4th grade, my teacher Mrs. Farber asked me what I wanted to be when you grew up. I wanted to meet famous people. Well, I can't sing and I can't dance, so being famous was not an option. I thought interviewing them was the next best thing! I decided then that I wanted to be like Crook & Chase and interview artists while playing everyone's favorite music.

Are you from the Illinois Valley? If not, what attracted you here? I am not originally from the Illinois Valley. I was born and raised in Geneseo, about 40 minutes from here. I was living in Bloomington when I met my husband and I got offered a job to come to the valley for radio. I took it and bought a house in Ladd. I love the small town living and all the kind people that live here!

Favorite kind of music/artist? I grew up listening to country music. Dolly, Garth, Alan Jackson, Shania, and Reba are some of my classic favorites! I like an array of music! Some of my favorite bands/artists are Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, and Smash Mouth.

Favorite food? Pizza is good any time of day or night. Pizza makes my heart happy!

What do you like to do on your free time? When I'm not at the station or chasing around my 2 toddlers, you can find me being cozy on the couch with some coffee watching some sort of documentary. The family and I also like to go hike out at Starved Rock and check out local events happening.
