A woman in Washington state used “Find My iPhone” to save her husband from an avalanche. It happened last Thursday while he was skiing at a resort 50 miles east of Seattle.
Michael Harris’s wife Penny says she had a bad feeling something wasn’t right. He didn’t pick up when she called, so she used “Find My iPhone” to see where he was.
His phone wasn’t moving, so she rushed to the resort . . . showed them exactly where he was . . . and they dug him out. He was stuck for four hours. He had hypothermia and a broken leg. But he’s alive.
