
An 18-year-old hockey player named Jackson Drum received a special welcome back at a Minnesota Wild preseason game.
Jackson suffered a very serious spinal cord injury while playing prep school hockey, and has spent nine months away from the rink, recovering. He still has a lot of rehab to go, but doctors initially thought he’d be paralyzed, and he’s already starting to walk. Jackson says he wants to inspire others to beat the odds.
