DIXON – A rural Lee County fire at a factory near Dixon was extinguished during the snowstorm Sunday morning by the Sublette and Amboy Fire Departments. Employees called in the blaze around 2:45 AM in the 1000 block of Corregidor Road and due to the weather and size of the facility, Dixon Rural Fire Department and Dixon City also responded. Upon arrival, crews quickly tackled the fire reportedly coming from a machine and an oil pit. No injuries were reported and crews were on scene about two hours.
