“Dogtor” Loki is a therapy dog who has been delivering healthcare kits to nurses

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 17th:
Loki is a Rottweiler “dogtor” who has been delivering “healthcare healing kits” to nurses in Maryland during the ongoing pandemic.
Loki mainly works at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, but has been visiting multiple patients and aiding nurses during this trying time.
“My grandfather was sick and I lived with him in his hospital room for a month,” Loki’s owner Caroline explained. “When he would see this dog, he would light up.”
Loki and Caroline have worked to assemble kits with personal protective equipment (PPE) and other essential items nurses need en masse. So far, they’ve compiled over 1,400 kits. Caroline hopes Loki’s story is motivation for others to help out.
She wrote on Facebook: “THIS was was the dream, and it is coming to fruition: not only to help frontline workers/first responders, but to inspire others to do the same in their counties and states for their respective hospitals.”
