Sara Evans to release memoir, “Born to Fly,” this fall

Country singer Sara Evans announced her memoir, aptly titled Born to Fly, would be released on September 8th. In the book, she will open up about living in the spotlight, her career, and her faith, with stories about motherhood and purpose interjected. On that basis alone, it sounds like a complete package of memoir with dashes of self-help and motivation.
Evans is also readying a new album called Copy That for release on May 15th, which will feature 13 covers of recognizable pop and country songs.
Growing up a country music fan addicted to the Top 20 Countdown on CMT, I remember seeing music videos for Evans’ music all the time (“Suds in the Bucket” was always my personal favorite song/video from her). Although her music output has been muted in recent years, I know she has a loyal bunch of fans awaiting the release of both her book and her new CD.
