Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for February 4th:
Charity and good-deeds are so often a big priority for major league sports teams, it’s hard to recognize all of them. But Derrick Nnadi, defensive tackle of the Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs, and his generous contribution are probably going to get a lot of buzz.
Nnadi took it upon himself to pay for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project. This resulted in the facility having huge lines of folks ready to give dozens of dogs their forever home!
Nnadi, too, has been helping animals throughout the 2019 season through his personal Derrick Nnadi Foundation and their partnership with KCPP. It’s a lovely thing to watch people give back to their communities and use their platform for something so selfless.
