STREATOR – The Illinois State Police and Streator Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday evening. According to the Streator Police Department around 9 PM they were called to the 200 block of 9th Street for a report of a 33-year-old woman being shot. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A suspect and vehicle information was gathered and a high speed pursuit began on Illinois Route 17. The suspect vehicle eventually crashed in Dwight. Three were taken into custody after a search. The investigation continues by the Streator Police Department, LaSalle County State’s Attorny’s Office, and the Dwight and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
